Cable & Wireless Conferencing Service 

You can choose from two (2) plans, 10-ports or 20-ports.  The following Set up fee and Monthly charges apply.  All calls made to the Virtual Conferencing Bridge access number (747-0000) are billed at the local fixed line rate if the participants are calling  from within the Cayman Islands.

General Information

Who are the individuals involved on the meeting?
There are two main parties involved in the conference call – the Chairperson and the conferees for each call.


Who is a Chairperson?


The Chairperson is the person controlling the overall conference call activities by executing commands while the conference is in progress via their telephone. There is only one chairperson for each call


Who is a Conferee?
A Conferee is a person participating in the conference call. They have limited control of their individual port by executing commands while the conference is in progress via their telephone. There are a minimum of 1 and maximum of 10 or 20 conferees for each call depending on your service


FAQ's

Will my associates overseas dialling into my bridge be responsible for their international calls?
For a Normal Conference Bridge all participants dialling in from overseas will pay for any charges incurred by them, i.e. what they usually pay for a call to a number within the 345 area code. We will be offering at a later date a Toll Free Package in which overseas participants can dial into the conference without incurring additional international call charges.

How long can conference call last on the bridge?
With the Virtual Office Conference Bridge Service a conference can last as long as needed. You can use the bridge as often and however long as required

Do I need special kind of telephone to participate in a conference call?
No. Any telephone which has a touch-tone keypad, including Residential touch-tone phone, PBX, Key System, Mobile Phone and Payphones can be used to participate in a conference call
