Cable & Wireless Virtual Office is an Internet Protocol service that combines the platform of business grade communication system (PABX) functionality with Internet Protocol (IP) benefits and capabilities. It enables your business to complete calls to or from the Cable & Wireless network or within your Virtual Office group of employee stations. Plus the service is nomadic so it is not dependent on an office location.
The nomadic features come from Virtual Office’s ability to bond a phone line/number to a specific employee and no matter where the employee may move this never changes, unless settings are changed. This allows an employee to carry his/her phone and office number to virtually any location.
The service is designed to provide audio and video communications between a station on the your business Local Area Network (LAN) and a station on the public Cable & Wireless switched telephone network (PSTN) or other Virtual Office service users.
The Virtual Office system and equipment is maintained and housed at Cable & Wireless facilities; therefore your business is not required to buy or house any equipment at your location. Your business office locations can be linked through the Virtual Office system without the need for equipment beyond what is stated under “What you need.”
